This new tee reframes an ancient Persian pattern with meaningful colors and symbolic fire.
This design draws from a timeless Achaemenid pattern, reinterpreted with modern minimalism.
The colored rectangles—red, yellow, and blue—symbolize espand, frankincense, and dry herbs: traditional offerings cast into fire for protection and purification.
Printed with DTF on heavyweight, garment-dyed cotton, the tee offers a soft yet structured feel and a relaxed fit.
Cuneiform text anchors the design—a quiet reference to language, ritual, and enduring flame.

THE MODERN ACHAEMENID PATTERN
This exquisite design draws inspiration from the Cube of Zoroaster, showcasing a minimalist pattern from the Achaemenid era (550–330 BCE) and the iconic proclamation of Cyrus the Great: 'I am Cyrus, the king, an Achaemenid.' This historic inscription, carved in Old Persian on a towering column in Pasargadae, underscores the emperor's enduring legacy. Parslex has meticulously restored, analyzed, and reinterpreted this ancient pattern, unveiling it in a modern format for the first time in August 2024.

More Info: The Cube of Zoroaster, also known as Karnaykhaneh or Ka'ba-ye Zartosht, is thought to have been a Zoroastrian temple. Cyrus’s declaration immortalizes his role as the founder of the Achaemenid Empire, securing his influence on Persian history and culture for centuries to come. By inscribing his message at Pasargadae, Cyrus solidified his place in the annals of Persian heritage.
Now, you can wear a piece of this rich history, reimagined with the timeless elegance of Achaemenid art.
