About the Starred Power Ring Symbol
The Starred Power Ring draws inspiration from the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of ancient Persia, particularly the Achaemenid Empire under Cyrus the Great. This design celebrates the enduring symbolism of the star as a guiding force, an emblem deeply rooted in Zoroastrian beliefs. In this tradition, stars represented divine guidance and the cosmic order, reflecting humanity's connection to the heavens.
In ancient Persia, celestial symbols like stars, crescent moons, and winged discs were integral to the artistic language of kingship and divinity. These motifs, often featured on coins and carvings, conveyed the emperor's legitimacy, portraying rulers as chosen by the cosmos to bring harmony and justice. The star, in particular, underscores Cyrus's role as a visionary leader aligned with the celestial will.
We believe this ring design is inspired by the power ring of the Fravashi (Faravahar)—a Zoroastrian symbol of spiritual protection and purpose. The star motif, likely derived from ancient celestial depictions, merges seamlessly with the Achaemenid tradition of cosmic symbolism.

Finally, the engraving of Cyrus the Great that inspired this design is attributed to an anonymous 19th-century English artist, who clearly reimagined the legacy of one of history’s most celebrated leaders. The Starred Power Ring blends historical reverence with contemporary artistry, honoring both Cyrus’s legacy and the timeless beauty of ancient Persian symbolism.
