FRAVASHI DESIGN
The Fravashi, also known as Faravahar, is an enduring symbol of the Achaemenid Empire, dating back to 522 BCE. It is believed to embody the core tenets of Zoroastrian philosophy, reflecting the profound connection between humanity and the divine. The central figure, often interpreted as a guardian angel or a representation of royal divine grace, is adorned with expansive wings and a ring symbolizing eternity.
This iconic design, famously carved into the stone walls of Persepolis (Parseh), has long been recognized as a symbol of protection and guidance. Over the centuries, this historic piece endured significant damage, most notably during the conquest of the Achaemenid Empire by Alexander the Great. The structure also sustained damage from shooting arrows, fire, and the passage of time.
In 2024, a meticulous three-month process of redesigning and uncovering the hidden intricacies of this masterpiece was completed. During this restoration, we worked tirelessly to preserve and study the Fravashi (Faravahar), uncovering an extraordinary geometric framework within its design.

Ancient Persian artisans had skillfully incorporated advanced mathematical principles, ensuring perfect symmetry and balance. From the curvature of the wings to the alignment of the human figure, every detail was calculated with precision, reflecting not only artistic excellence but also engineering brilliance.
These hidden geometric patterns, combined with the painstaking restoration efforts, elevate the Fravashi beyond its spiritual and cultural significance. It stands as a masterpiece of ancient design and a testament to the extraordinary sophistication and ingenuity of the civilization that created it.
